This has caught out enough people that it belongs in the first paragraph. The address is on North Blackstone, but the unit faces the rear lot, and the only marking is a stencilled Bay 3 on the roller door. If you are standing at a glass shopfront looking confused, you are on the wrong side of the building.
Enter the rear lot from the side street rather than from Blackstone itself — the Blackstone entrance is a right turn only and it is easy to overshoot at speed. Park anywhere in the back row. The three spaces directly against the roller door are kept clear so a set of clubs can be carried straight in without crossing traffic.
Behind the unit you will see a fence with green inside it. That is the plot, and it is the surest way to confirm you have the right bay.

Those are the hours the bench is staffed, not walk-in hours. Every session is booked, and if one is running you will find the door open and nobody free to talk to you for the next hour.
Monday is closed to fittings entirely. That is when the four patches get mown, edged, watered and scarified on their separate schedules, and when the previous week's builds get assembled.
Fastest
Bao answers it when he is not in the bay. If nobody picks up we are mid-session with somebody who is paying for our full attention, so leave a message and it gets returned the same working day. Calls after Friday evening get answered Tuesday morning.
Most useful
Better than a phone call for a first enquiry, because it lets you describe the miss in your own time. We read the description before we ring back, so the call starts from a position of knowing something.
Slowest
Read once a day, usually in the evening. Fine for sending a photograph of a shaft label or a list of what is in the bag. Not the way to change tomorrow's appointment.

Tell us when you book. We will hold a longer window so a late arrival does not compress the outdoor portion, and in summer we will push you into the earliest slot available rather than let you arrive at the point where the plot stops being usable.
